WATER, A GREAT GIFT OF NATURE

According to Ayurveda, Yoga and western science, 7O% of the body consists of water.When thirsty,we should drink water; but slowly, in small sip, and above all avoid gulping it down in one draught. Each sip of liquid be kept in the mouth for a moment, savoured and mixed with saliva.

Water should be " masticated " so that the body can absorb the large quantity of Prana it contains. It should be drunk neither too hot or too cold, but at room temperature.

Only a small quantity should be drunk at a time, but this should be respected several time during the day. A certain amount of water is essential to stimulate the circulatory system, favour nutrition, help digestion and eliminate the body's waste products.

It is required also for the proper functioning of the kidneys, for it forms part of the various juices in the organism, eg: bile,gastric juices and pointlessly swell the stomach.

Water drunk half an hour and after a meal is normally suitable for any temperament or contion.

According to the Ayurveda, a glass of water at bedtime and on the getting up in the morning will completely wash the organism.

It has been observed that those who do not drink enough water are often anaemic. Their skin dries out and perspiration diminishes. They are nearly always constipated.

One should drink at least two pints of water a day, I mean 2 and half litres, and even more if one lives in a hot country like our Cambodia.

I keep drink one glass of water before bed and early morning wake up almost 5 years now. Thats why my body system is more healthier and is organic. I've never ever gone to see Dr. either...Basically, I drink more than 2 lil for a day...

Do we count include drink beer too??? Just asking.
