SRP MPs visited border pillars along Khmer-Vietnamese borders

By Khmerization

Twenty one MPs from the opposition Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) had visited tow border pillars in Svay Rieng province on 14th December, reports Radio Free Asia.

Mr. Uon Chhin, RFA reporter, reported that the MPs were prevented from visiting border pillar number 185, the spot where party president Sam Rainsy led 100 villagers to uproot six border demarcation poles on 25th October they accused of illegally planting by Vietnamese authority in the middle of the Cambodian farmers' rice-fields.

It seem that Hun Sen and his CPP party don't care about borders, especially borders with Vietnam. Vietnam had encroached significant areas of Khmer territories but they still keep silent, even try to hide the encroachments by banning opposition MPs from visiting the areas.
