Prime Minister Hun Sen (pictured) has on 30th November ordered all governmental and provincial institutions to review all agreements with Thailand, including all Memorandums of Understanding signed between the two countries, reports Deum Ampil.
Earlier, Mr. Hun sen had ordered the cancellation of a $41 million loans from Thailand for road constructions from the Khmer-Thai borders to Siem Reap town.
Speaking at an inauguration of a Buddhist temple in Ponhea Krek district of Kampong Cham province on the morning of 30th November, Mr. Hun Sen ordered the annulments of all agreements with Thailand. "There are 23 agreements signed from 1994 to 2009. We wish to say that some agreements had expired and some are still in force. And the 23rd agreement was only signed on 27th August 2009 for a financial loan of 1,400 billion Baht ($41 million). If we accept this loan it is like a bone choking in our throat and we owe a debt of gratitude to them (Thailand). Cambodia has its own money to develop this road, so we don't have to accept the money to from a government of this Prime Minister (Mr. Abhisit)", Hun Sen said.
Mr. Hun Sen had also warned that any ministers and officials who accept any aids from Mr. Abhisit's government without his permission will be sacked. However, he said humanitarian aids from Thailand will still be acceptable, only aids from the Abhisit government are prohibited.
Mr. Hun Sen had also ordered the Ministry of Education to halt sending students on the Thai government scholarships to study in Thailand. He said he will personally pay for them to study in Cambodia.
Last month, the Thai government had cancelled the maritime MoU with Cambodia and threatened to close all borders with Cambodia after Mr. Hun Sen appointed fugitive ex-Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra as his government economic advisor. Mr. Hun Sen dared Mr. Abhisit to close the borders. "I say this back to you, If you close all the border checkpoints all Thai goods will be banned from all the Cambodian markets and the Thai people must know that the person who destroyed their livelihood is this Prime Minister (Abhisit Vejjajiva). And I wish to add that Cambodia is not the one who initiated the border closures, but if they closed the borders, Cambodia will close the borders, including the maritime borders as well", he said.
Currently, more than 100 Thai trawlers were granted licences to fish in Cambodian waters off the coast of Koh Kong everyday.
Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya recently said that Thailand will not initiate the normalisation of bilateral relations because he said that Cambodia was the one who caused the current diplomatic row by appointing Mr. Thaksin as its economic advisor. Responding to this comment, Hun Sen said that the the Khmer-Thai problems dated back to 15th July 2008 when the Thai government sent Thai troops to invade Cambodian Preah Vihear temple. The problems further complicated when Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya incited the Yellow Shirted protesters to reclaim Preah Vihear temple. "Kasit, you were the leaders of the Yellow Shirted protesters. You were the one who violated the Preah Vihear temple and you were the one who had bitterly insulted me during the protests because you are a totally ignorant person. Please play back your tape to listen to what you had said", Hun Sen said.
Mr. Hun Sen said that he had worked with 10 Thai prime ministers and only Mr. Abhisit is the one whom he cannot work with. He added that the reasons he had ordered the cancellations of all agreements, including loans and aids agreements, so that the Thai government will not have anything to use to insult and bully Cambodia. "Cambodia would rather shed blood, but will never allow anyone to insult or threaten her because it is very painful", Hun Sen added.

hun sen is so stupid. he is taking too priavte, goingtoo far. very embarassing to have this person in power. khmer will neverhave happiness with this kind of leader.
Mr. Hun Sen is mentally unstable. One day he is OK, the next day he is mad.
A leader of a country must be mentally stable and able to handle all the pressures and be assertive and consistent in his policies.
Hun Sen caused all the trouble with Abhisit for nothing. First, he irritated Abhisit by appointing Thaksin then now he just got mad with Abhisit for nothing.
Hun Sen must be consistent in his policies, not take things too personal. He has to think of the ways to resolve Preah Vihear, land and maritime borders with Thailand. So far he has not been consistent on these matters and that is the reasons why Thai troops are still on Cambodian soil.
This is Hun Sen's ways of trying to distract and divert all the attention away from his domestic troubles and border problems with Vietnam.
If Hun Sen behaves erratically like what he is behaving now, Cambodian border problems on the eastern and western sides will never be resolved and Cambodia will lose these territories permanently to our neighbors, Vietnam and Thailand.
What do you expect from an idiot Hun Sen, a former Khmer Rouge killing machine. We can not expect much from an 18 year old mentality. Knowing his background of joining the Khmer Rouge at the age of 18, I am so scared. Look at Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khiev Samphan, Ho youn, Ho nim,...etc...had gone to school longer than this idiot, Hun Sen, did. And what did they end up doing, KILLING their own people.
Communist, communist, communist...can we trust anyone of them?...the answer is no, because the Khmer Rouge and the HUN SEN's Vietnamese Communist Government are both the same government except it is run by a different group of people with different techniques. They have the ideology of keeping track and controlling people.
Hun Sen's Character has been displayed as to how incompetence and childish he is throughout his 30 years in power.
Recently, he offered appointed the former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin to be his Economic Advisor knowing that this idiot is wanted in Thailand for his corruption. On top of this issue, is another problem that has not been solved with Thai Government yet, Preah Vihear.
Is this nuthead, Hun Sen, calling himself a Prime Minister? Operating the country like him, it does not require any brainy or a genius person to run Cambodia.
I hope that some days one of the better, clever, and patriotic person will replace this idiot to really save Khmer people and Cambodia.
Thanks for reading.
