About 100 red shirts on Wednesday crossed the border checkpoint at Aranyaprathet to meet and show moral support for fugitive ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra in Phnom Penh, an Army officer manning the checkpoint said.
"The red shirts are travelling in three vans and some of them have walked through the checkpoint to get on waiting vehicles on the Cambodian side," Captain Chan Wongwaimethee said.
