8,400 Cambodians living in South Korea

Many Cambodians have gone to study and works in South Korea in the last 12 years. According to South Korean Ambassador to Cambodia Lee Kyung-soo, currently there are 8,400 Cambodians who are legally living and working in South Korea, reports everyday.com.

Speaking at a press conference at the Journalists Club of Cambodia on 14th October, Ambassador Lee Kyung-soo said those 8,400 Cambodians who are residing in South Korea are women who married to South Korean men, students and migrant workers.

Among the 8,400 Cambodians living in South Korea, there are 2,900 Cambodian women who are married to South Korean men, 4,900 migrant workers and the rest are students. On the other hand, there are 4,000 South Koreans are currently living in Cambodia, said the ambassador.
