Cambodia has announced the country's first swine flu-related fatality.
Prime Minister Hun Sen said Monday that the 40-year-old Cambodian woman died the day before at Phnom Penh's Calmette Hospital after several days of illness and lung infection.
The Cambodian Ministry of Health reported a total of 88 swine flu cases last week.
The World Health Organization says more than 300,000 cases of H1N1 have been confirmed throughout the world, and more than 3,900 people have died from the virus.
