The law is the law. Anyone who committed crimes, doesn't matter who they are, must serve the time.
Laws in Cambodia had been applied unequally between the powerful-rich and the weak-poor. Most of the time, the powerful-rich can get away with crimes, while the weak-poor always serve the time, even if they are innocent of the charges.
