Prime Minister Hun Sen (pictured) said that he will send a clear message to Thailand regarding the upcoming meeting with Thai Deputy PM Suthep Taugsuban, reports Deumm Ampil.

Mr. Suthep is scheduled to arrive in Cambodia on Saturday to smooth things with Prime Minister Hun Sen after Thai PM sparked a diplomatic row with Cambodia when he requested Unesco to de-list the Preah Vihear temple in a Unesco meeting in Seville, Spain on 23rd June. News from Spain reported that Unesco had flatly rejected the Thai request.

Deum Ampil quoted Mr. Hun Sen As saying that it's best that the Thai Deputy PM not coming to Cambodia if he wishes to talk aboutthe same old things regarding the Preah vihear issue. He said: "If the visit of Mr. Suthep Taugsuban is just to talk about the same old things regarding the Preah Vihear issue, he'd better not come."

Mr. Hun Sen seems to refer to the many failed talks with Thailand regarding the issue of Preah Vihear.

Mr. Hun Sen's message comes at a time when both sides of the borders are busy preparing the military shows of force.

Cambodian military officers had accused Thailand of beefing up its military forces first by deploying more than 3,000 troops near the disputed borders backed up by 12 artillery guns and tanks.

The Thai military in turn accused Cambodian military of troop reinforcements backed up by 130mm artillery guns and T-54 tanks.
