Mr. Kong Sam Onn, lawyer for Mrs. Mu Sochua, had been summoned to appear before the Phnom Penh Court on Thursday in relation to Mrs. Mu Sochua's defamation lawsuit against Mr. Hun Sen.
The Cambodia Daily newspaper reported on Tuesday that Mr. Hing Bun, the Phnom Penh Court prosecutor, had signed a court order to summon Mr. Kong Sam Onn to asnwer the court in relation to the lawsuit against Mr. Hun Sen lodged by him on behalf of Mrs. Mu Sochua.
Mr. Kong Sam Onn said that he received the court summon on Monday and added that he will attend the court hearing as summoned. He told the Cambodia Daily that he will represent Mrs. Mu Sochua in court and that he will tender to court all the evidences in written forms and in audio forms.
Mr. Kong Sam Onn added that during his appearances in court he will also request the court to charge Prime Minister Hun Sen for defaming Mrs. Mu Sochua.
