Thai police said that Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, the ousted Thai Prime Minister, is still in hiding in the United Arab Emirates, reports everyday.com.
Gen. Watcharapol Prasanratchakit, the Thai police spokesman, said that Mr. Thaksin is still in hiding in the United Arab Emirates and that the Thai police had asked Interpol in the United Arab Emirates to apprehend him.
The spokesman said that the Thai police had also withdrawn a title of Police Colonel bestowed to Mr. Thaksin because he was also convicted of criminal offences.
