Singer Sasar dismissed nude photos bearing her face

Reported in English by Khmerization

A singer for the production company, Classic Music, Miss Sasar (pictured), has dismissed the nude photos bearing her face published in the 2nd-20th March edition of the Sophorn Magazine.

She claimed that the photos had been digitally cut and pasted to make them look like they are her photos. Her face was cut and pasted to the nude body of someone, she claimed.

In an emotional appeal, she request the magazine to respect her honour and dignity as a decent Khmer woman. She said she will lodge a legal complaint against the magazine in court.

She condemned the publication of the Sophorn magazine as immoral and posed a question to the writers and editors of the Sophorn magazine, how would they feel if someone did the same to the photos of their mothers and sisters.

The Sophorn magazine claimed that the photos were taken by her friends with a mobile phone in a guesthouse during her holiday in Sihanoukville. But Miss Sasar vehemently denied the existence of her nude photos by claiming that those nude photos of hers are digitally cut and pasted to make them look like they are hers.
