Sokha Hotels Group has on 18th February held a foundation-laying ceremony to set up a construction site for the construction of Hotel Sokha Bokor presided over by Deputy Prime Minister Mrs. Men Sam An.
According to the company's plan, Hotel Sokha Bokor will be designed and built in the Khmer style but blended with the modern architectural style. This hotel will be built on top of the Bokor Mountain on 7 hectares of land. The hotel will be 12 to 16 storeys and comprised 650 to 950 rooms with a huge international standard conference room that can be seated with 2,000 people.
Other than this, the hotel will cater for other services.
The company's representative said that the construction of this hotel will generate 1,00 jobs for the Cambodian workers and when the hotel is fully operational it will employ up to 1,200 Cambodian workers.
