Christian children from Adventkirken in Nedre Eiker, Øvre Eiker and Drammen municipalities have donated about 150.000 kroner to NGOs, who fight against human trafficking in Cambodia and the Northern part of Thailand. The money will primarily go to children – and especially girls – who is sold into prostitution.
Since a representative from ADRA Norway (A christen aid foundation, founded by the church of the Seventh-day Adventist) told the Norwegian pupils about the situation for trafficked children, they have collected money in the neighbourhood to help the trafficked children in Asia, for example by arranging Christmas bazaars, fundraisings and other arrangements.
