A member of the Puea Thai Party, Mr. Pracha Prasobdee, said on this Monday that he received an information that Mr Thaksin Shinawatra, the Thai former PM, will return to Thailand on Thursday this week.
Mr. Pracha said that people have to wait to see what will happen on Thursday the 25th of December. He said: "I heard that there will be a big surprise on Christmas day, that is one of the very important persons will return back to our motherland."
When asked whether that very important person is Mr. Thaksin, he answered: "I have heard that it defenitely will be Mr. Thaksin."

Note: Mr. Thaksin was ousted in a coup d'etat in 2006 and was briefly allowed to return to Thailand on 28th Feb., 2008. A few months later he was convicted in a Thai court of corruption and he fled back to London ever since.
