Many people, some from the United States, some from Cambodia and others from various countries around the world have gathered in France for the funeral of Dr. Keng Vannsak (pictured), the famed emeritus professor of Khmer literature.
Dr. Keng Vannsak was born on the 19th of September, 1925 and died on Thursday 18th December, 2008 from lung failures. His body will be cremated on Tuesday 23rd of December at 11am in the morning at Crematorium Joncherolles, number 95 of Marcel Sambat Street, Zip code 93430 Epinay Villetaneuse, France.
One of his closest associates said that Dr. Keng Vannsak's ashes will be buried with his mother's ashes at a stupa in Wat Samrong Andet Pagoda in Kandal province.
