BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) -- There are reports of heavy rains and severe flooding in Myanmar in places still recovering from a massive cyclone.
A state-run newspaper says residents have been fleeing homes, schools have been closed, and rice fields submerged. The severe weather hit parts of Yangon as well as the Irrawaddy delta, an area hard hit by the cyclone that killed more than 84,000 people.
Flooding has also hit parts of Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. In Laos, at least four people have died in landslides triggered by flooding.
