AN EVENING of fashion and music has been organised by the Friends of Cambodia at a garden party on September 26 at Quinta dos Salicos, between Carvoeiro and Lagoa.
A fashion show will be presented to guests and musical entertainment will be provided by professional Swiss musician Jean Pierre Braga.
There is no entry fee for the event but organisers are asking for a donation of 10 euros per person which will then be given to a fund set up to provide education and healthcare for children in Cambodia.
Friends of Cambodia is a non-profit making organisation founded in Portugal in 2005. The primary aim of the foundation is to raise funds for children in Cambodia through a series of fund raising events.
Invitations for the garden party are available from Bacchus Café at Porches Pottery or from Terra, the organic farm near Lagoa.
