Mediawatch,
your comments below are very interesting. Like you, I believe that the Thai oppositions want to use Preah Vihear's issue to advance their interests in bringing down the Samak government. It is a dangerous game on the part of the Thai oppositions to use Preah Vihear to settle the Thai internal squabbling. Cambodian has been very patient so far and I hope after the election, Mr. Hun Sen will open his mouth on the Preah Vihear issue so that the Thai people will know that Cambodia is not a nation that can be insulted by the Thai people without any response. Preah Vihear Temple will always belong to Cambodia as far as the ICJ's decision in 1962, and the inscription of the Temple as World Heritage List is surely another severe blow to Thailand and its people.
The current Thai administration is under scrutinies from others [parties within the current government and opposition] purely by politicizing Preah Vihear issue and to create nationalist's motions and tension but the main core and real intention of all are rather scary - to oust the legitimated, democratic elected government of just 6 months old who are thought and claimed to be too friendly to the former ousted PM Thaksin.

Khmerization;
I am disagreed with you that PM Hun Sen shall react to the Thai people reactiond over the Preah Vihear Temple issue, and I personally don't think that it is PM Hun Sen's option at this very moment - nothing to gain [reaction] but on the other hand he would order his border committee [hopefully after the election] to conclude the negotiation on overlap land surrounding the temple and complete the demarcation of the border in timely manner.
