Samdech Decho Hun Sen (pictured) has publicly said that an unnamed lady, who stole someone’s husband, has insulted him by saying that she will gouge out his other eye, if her husband wins an election and she has a chance to return back to Cambodia. Despite this, Samdech Hun Sen said that he is trying to eliminate a culture of “when the tide swells, the fish eat the ants, and when the tide recedes the ants eat the fish” (revenge) - meaning that he does not wish to harbour any revenge against anyone.
Speaking at an inauguration ceremony of an Islamic mosque in Russei Keo district near Phnom Penh on the 15th of May, Mr. Hun Sen said that, according to his intelligence, “there is a lady who stole someone’s husband who said that if her husband wins the election and when she returns to back to Cambodia, she will gouge out another eye of Ah Sen (the contemptible Sen)”.
Samdech Hun Sen did not name the lady in question. However, many political observers believe that he was referring to Mrs. Ouk Phalla, second wife of Prince Ranariddh, who is now living in exile with the prince in a foreign country.
Samdech Hun Sen said that he is sad to hear that someone has insulted him in this manner and, as he is also a human being, he regrets to see such a lady (a husband stealer) insulting him in such a manner. He said that in his entire life he has painfully endured and has survived many vicious attempts on his life and sometimes someone spread vicious rumours around that he was already dead. And there was an attempt on my life with rocket attacks in Siem Reap (1998), and now someone wanted to gouge out his other eye, he said. Samdech Hun Sen added that these sort of language means that the person wanted to take his life even before she takes power.
However, Samdech Hun Sen said that he is trying to rid of a culture of “when the tide swells, the fish eat the ants, and when the tide recedes the ants eat the fish” (revenge) and he does not want to take any revenge against anyone. He said that in the past, when Lon Nol (the Khmer Rouge?) took power, they eliminated all Lon Nol’s supporters. He said that he wanted to rid of this culture for the sake of territorial unity with his win-win policy, so that no one will take revenge against anyone, but trying to compete against each other through election. //

C'est vrai Hun Sèn est un borgne. Mme Ouk Phala veut lui enlever un autre oeil pour que Ah Khvang makhak Hun Sèn soit totalement aveugle. Ah Hun Sèn avec un oeil, il ne peut pas voir clairement des choses au tour de lui. c'est la raison pour laquelle, Ah khvak makhang Hun Sèn a déclaré récemment qu'il y a une femme voleuse de mari d'une autre femme, qui veut enlever son oeil. Ah Khvak Hun Sèn a oublié que lui aussi avait volé la femme appelée Mme Piseth Pealika, épouse de Mr. Khay Praseth. En résumé Ah Khvak Hun Sèn n'est pas non plus meilleur que Mme Ouk Phala qui est la voleuse de mari de Mme Éng Marie. Ah khvak Hun Sèn et Mme Ouk Phala sont tous deux des infidèles

Mais Ah Khvak Hun Sèn réplique à son tour que Mme Ouk Phala est une femme adultère, voleuse de mari (norodom Ranariddh) de Mme Éng Marie. Oh ! Ah khvak Hun Sèn, toi ! a oublié que toi as volé aussi la femme de Mr. Khay Praseth (Mme Piseth Pealika). Donc vous deux (Ah khvak Hun Sèn et Mme Ouk Phala) sont classés et considérés comme infidèles vis-à-vis de sa femme et de son mari.
