He is the lucky few who have survived in one piece. The coward ones who never saw the true battlefield are promoted to stars and stripes on their shoulders.
don't feel bad... US vietnam and kuwait veterans got nothing either .. some of them are homeless and on ''drugs' from stress called PTSD .. and the US gov each year is spending BILLIONs dollars on military budget... my brother is a cambodian soldier too joined since he was 22 yrs old , his retirement is coming up in a few years and he got nothing to show for.. i gave him money to buy land and build the house he live in right now...
