PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday threatened to remove opposition leader from his post in the National Assembly.
"In this past few days, I heard someone shouting from one place, let shout, but should be careful of majority group which can topple him," he said at a graduation ceremony, referring to Kem Sokha, vice-president of the National Assembly.
"Don't forget the position. We let him be vice-president of the National Assembly, who is coordinator, but not let him blame others," he said.
This is the second time the premier warned to remove Kem Sokha who became the deputy president of the National Assembly after CPP and CNRP reached a political agreement on July 22.

Hun Sen does not know what he has been doing to lead the country. He probably follow his Yuon/Vietnamese advisers in CPP government to talk rubbish without understanding the agreements between the two parties, CPP and CNRP.

I know what's Mr. Hun Sen is doing. First, he let Kem Sokha to have a higher rank then Sam Rainsy in the National Assembly. Then Kem Sokha got arrogant, Mr. Hun Sen give Sam Rainsy a title higher then Kem Sokha.
So, in term of function, Kem Sokha has more function than Sam Rainsy, but in term of title Sam Rainsy has a higher title. Give it time, Sam Rainsy will order Kem Sokha to so a certain function then Kem Sokha will refuse. The two will fight.
Normally, if you have the higher title, you will also hold a higher function and more function. Only a disfunctional Khmer politics would play out like this. lol...I salute Mr. Hun Sen, he is so smart.

Cambodia King (Chay Chettha II in this case) permanently seceded the area for Nguyen Lord since 17th century. So that diplomat (Tran Van Thong was not ambassador) was not wrong to say the area belonged to Vietnamese for a long times.
Truly the land now called South Vietnam at that times was not that fertility like today. It was Chinese and Vietnamese's work. The Cambodian ppl in the area was small nor wealthy nor important (Cambodia king seceded that land to foreign power) and the area itself was not under tight control of Cambodia.
Not to say Cambodian was not the first person lived there. The first once was Furnanese who conquered and exterminated by Cambodian.
In the other hand Vietnamese know full well that area once belonged to Cambodia, Vietnamese made no attempt to erase it nor change it to 'Vietnamese lived there for thousands years' like what Cambodian racist condemned
