Battambong police arrest three Thais with over USD 7 mln fake money

PHNOM PENH (The CAMBODIA Herald) -- Battambong police on Friday arrested three Thai men at the Cambodian-Thai border for carrying fake money which is worth USD 7 millions.

 

Chi Kit, 47, Pra Mot, 48 and a military commander  Chamrat Vongsa, 53, were arrested at around 11:00 a.m in Romduol commune, Phnom Proek district of Battambong province as they were carrying counterfeit CASH worth US 7.16 million DOLLAR. 

The police said that the fake US dollar notes were packed in three boxes.
