PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- 13 people were killed, and 47 others were injured in road accidents on Sunday, a day ahead of Pchum Ben festival from 22-24 September, website of General Commiosariate of National Police said.
The website said among the victims injured, 32 including 10 WOMEN were severely wounded in 27 cases of traffic accidents throughout the country.
The accidents which damaged 47 vehicles including 32 motorcycle caused by speedy DRIVING, driving under effect of alcohol, overtake driving, and other violations of TRAFFIC LAW.
41 victims were not wearing helmets while driving, added the website.
