Mikhail Myasnikovich said at the meeting with Hun Sen that a free trade zone, which is planned to be created by customs union countries and ASEAN will promote cooperation between our countries. Also strengthening of economic cooperation between the two countries is in the spotlight. Heads of governments signed around ten agreements: cooperation in industry, healthcare, military equipment and a memorandum of understanding.
Government House declared today that in case of major joint projects Belarus is ready to provide technology transfer to Cambodia. Only in the year 2013 the trade between our countries totaled six million dollars. Belarus exports mainly tractors: last year alone Cambodia purchased about three hundred units. And yesterday in the capital of Cambodia a joint project started working: it is a factory for assembling Belarusian tractors and agricultural machinery.
