PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- The mother of
Kem Sokha’s alleged mistress announced she will file a lawsuit against
him for allegedly ordering his bodyguard to attack her last week.
Sam Phala told reporters Tuesday afternoon while being treated at the Calmette hospital.
She
said she will file the complaint with Prey Veng Provincial Court on
Wednesday against Kem Sokha, asking the court to convict him and
bodyguard rather than asking for compensation.
Currently, Kem
Sokha, acting president of a newly-formed National Rescue Party is
facing two lawsuits, one filed by Chum Mey, Tuol Sleng prison surivor
(S-21) and another by Keo Sophannary who claimed she's his mistress.
Kem Sokha, who's not currently in the country, dismisses all allegations.

I heard in PPenh about some people who want to make
quick buck , tthrow themselvee underneath luxury car tires to get sone compensation . CNRP supporters think it's
ridiculous for the 41 ( real age ) years old lady who claimed
that she broke up her relationship with Kem Sokha 19 years
ago , has shown up during campaign season & asked him
for family support , given the fact that the two adopted children are less than 10 years old . The old lady is living in
Phnom Penh , there must be someone took her to Prey Veng ( 70 miles ) to harass Kem Sokha in front of thousand
CNRP supporters . isn't that obvious that both the mother
& daughter are used for political gain ?
If there is no fire there is no smoke. We need to investigate Kem Sokha for possible criminal past. We need to do a background check on this guy in order to support him.
What a dumb statement "if there is no fire there is no smoke." There is a reason for Khmer Rough to kill 2 million Khmer? and there is a reason for Youn to steal Khmer's land? What's an idiot..
Cambodia Democracy of 1946 was killed by Sihanouk , the one of 1993 was killed by
Hun Sen . The last multiparty election , Sihanouk jailed Mr Keng Vansak who was
the candidate of ( very popular ) Democratic Party , the Party canvassers were harassed everywhere . Mr Keng was released the day after election .
Sihanouk & Hun Sen was & is power grabber ; they both put their personal interest
ahead of national interest . Mr Kem Sokha must prepare himself to resist against CPP harassment or even attempted murder .
Regarding the mistress thing, the court must convict Hun sen and his wife Bun Rany who killed Hun Sen's mistress actress Pisith Pilika and mistreated Him Sivorn and Ork Borey.
