Political Forum
 “Perspectives of Political Parties on Environment and Land in Cambodia”

On 31 May 2013, a Political Forum on the topic of “Perspectives of Political Parties on Environment and Land in Cambodia” will be hosted at the Golden Sand Hotel, Street 23 Tola, Sangkat 04, Sihanouk Province.

The purpose of this Political Forum is to enable the major political parties to outline their policies on key issues prior to the national election on 28 July 2013, and to ensure that Cambodian citizens, civil society organizations, and non-profit organizations have access to relevant information about the different parties and are thus encouraged to participate in the national election.

At this forum, the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), Funcinpec, and the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) will be invited to outline their policies to delegates. The key issues on which they will present are Environment and Land.

Media representatives are invited to participate in the forum.
