PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) - The Cambodia Center for Human Rights
(CCHR) launched a postcard competition Tuesday to mark six months of
Beehive Radio owner Mam Sonando.
CCHR said it would display a "calendar of justice" in front of its head office to count the number of days of Mam Sonando’s detention.
It will also select the top three postcards on January 31 and print 10,000 to deliver to public.
"People can write messages of encouragement on postcards to Mr Mam Sonando and then send them to CCHR. We will read the messages on live radio programs," a statement said.
Mam Sonando has been sentenced to 20 years for his role in an attempted secession in Kratie in May.
