Thirty one cars were flagged off here to the roll of drums as
participants of the ASEAN-India Rallt began their drive to next stop
Cambodia.
The rally was flagged off in front of the Saranrom Palace, the birthplace of ASEAN 45 years ago.
The rally will reach India on December 20 after going through Myanmar before entering India.
The rally was flagged off by Thai deputy Prime Minister Surapong
Tovichakchaikul. Also present were Indian envoy Anil Wadhwa,
industrialist Sanjay Kirlosker and several ASEAN diplomats.
The rallyists will re-enter Thailand before venturing ahead.
