PHNOM PENH, 20 November 2012 (The Cambodia Herald) - Civil society groups said they
petitioned the White House Tuesday over human rights, land disputes,
elections and freedom of expression in Cambodia.
The petition was given to Ben Rhodes, deputy national security advisor for strategic communications in the Office of the Press Secretary, they said.
The move came a day after US President Barack Obama held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen.
