PHNOM PENH, 12 November 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Cambodia will deploy about 10,000 members of the armed forces during the ASEAN and related summit meetings
starting Thursday, a senior official said.
Kiet Chantharith, spokesman for General-Commissariat of National Police, said authorities would use "all security measures to ensure security and safety for the upcoming summits."
Armed forces will be deployed at the airport, the Peace Place, hotels and along streets. Police will also check for weapons on roads at night.
