PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has sent
a wreath to the Royal Palace to express condolences over the death of
the King Father, the Korean Central News Agency reported.
The report said the ribbon on the wreath bore the words "Kim Jong Un" and: "I mourn the passing of His Majesty the Great King Norodom Sihanouk."
Yang Hyong-sop, vice chairman of the presidium of the North Korean Supreme People's Assembly, was seen paying his respects to King Norodom Sihamoni in an emotional ceremony broadcast by Television Kampuchea (TVK) on Monday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said earlier that Yang was also scheduled to hold a meeting Prime Minister Hun Sen during his visit to Phnom Penh.
