PHNOM PENH, 19 September 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - The United States has asked Cambodian
police to tighten security around its embassy as anti-US protests spread
to Thailand, spokesman Sean Mc Intosh said Wednesday.
McIntosh said President Barack Obama had ordered all embassies to increase security after last week's explosion of anti-US protests worldwide over a film mocking Islam.
On Tuesday, hundreds of Thai Muslims protested outside the US embassy in Bangkok.
