This was agreed during a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 30th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting in Phnom Penh.
As a first step, a delegation from Cambodia will conduct a study visit to Singapore, organised by the Energy Market Authority (EMA), from October 21 to 24 to exchange views on energy issues.
The delegation will also attend the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2012.
Mr Suy Sem and Mr S Iswaran have also tasked their officials to work on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on specific initiatives to enhance bilateral energy relations. The MoU will be signed in October during SIEW.
