How the Vietnamese came to occupy Kampuchea Krom, the Khmer Empire in the Mekong Delta

Re: A Vietnamese blogger: Khmer Krom and Kampuchea Krom was a fabrication of Sihanouk

The followings are what an independent Vietnamese said about Kampuchea Krom:
“…in the 15th century, Vietnamese forces captured the Cham capital south of present-day Da Nang and virtually destroyed the kingdom. For the next several generations, Vietnam continued its historic "march to the south," wiping up the remnants of the Cham Kingdom and gradually approaching the marshy flatlands of the Mekong delta. There it confronted a new foe, the Khmer Empire, which had once been the most powerful state in the region. By the late 16th century, however, it had declined, and it offered little resistance to Vietnamese encroachment. By the end of the 17th century, Vietnam had occupied the lower Mekong delta and began to advance to the west, threatening to transform the disintegrating Khmer state into a mere protectorate.

...And here, a history of how Kampuchea was colonized by the Viets:

Reading from Histoire du Cambodge depuis le 1er siècle de notre ère par Adhémard Leclère, Paris, Librairie Paul Geuthner, 1914, p. 475-476.

Champa was not still definitively absorbed that already the Annamese of Cochin-China or Annam , governed by Nguyên, undertook to extend in Cambodia . At first in 1618, king of Annam had sent daughter to King Chey Chetha of Cambodia . He obtained from his son-in-law, in 1623, the territory of Saigon to create a market there and collect customs duties there. In 1658, he took a stand with princes Botom Reachea and Ang Tan, against king Chan, a Muslim convert.
Meanwhile Nguyên favored the exodus of all the scamps, all the escapees of the chain, people who, arisen from families having already immigrated from Tonkin to Cochin China to emigrate from Cochin China to Cambodia and infiltrate through the Cambodian populations, establish there and to evade taxes requisitioned by the Khmers, claim to come under king of Huê and owe nothing to King of Cambodians. Soon, king of Huê sent them Annam’s mandarins, pretending to oblige them to obey the laws of the country in which they lived; and these people, messengers to maintain the order and to help the Cambodian governors, were to act as Annam’s governors! Under this constant pressure of people of bag and rope, mischievous in Cochin China, colonists in Cambodia and devoted subjects of king of Annam, the areas of Baria or Barea, that of Daung Nay and of Prey kor were populated by Vietnamese and became depopulated by Cambodians. In 1580, king of Annam sent on the territories of Baria and Mytho, 3000 Chinese partisans of the dynasty of Minhs who having landed on the coast of Annam, had gone to Tourane, and about whom he did not know what to do at home that he dreaded. In this way, becoming the patron of Chinese immigrants by giving them lands in Cambodia, king of Huê annexed de facto if not de jure, a territory and had supporters within the country coveted. Towards the same period, a Chinese named Mac-cuu, also Minh's partisan, established in Peam ( Hatien), was made there pirate, ran away to himself a principality at the cost of the kingdom in Cambodia there and, for him made sure, returned for his tribute to king of Huê. This one accepted the tribute, and this other Cambodian territory was, therefore, annexed to Annam ( 1715 ).

On top of these peaceful, otherwise loyal means, the Annam’s general who commanded Saigon, managed the action of his fellow countrymen with a big skill and coordinated towards the same purpose the efforts of the diverse authorities, the decided auxiliaries and the immigrants who, by serving their particular interests, served the interests of Annam

The general did not stop intervening in the wars that broke out in Cambodia , by siding with the princes who came to him, against those who were directed to Siam , and each time, to pay his intervention, annexed one or two districts in Cambodia .

The Siamese also made for the North and both peoples, from whom kingdoms were separated by that of the Cambodians, eventually became nearby by their greed and enemy as if their territorial border had been common.

Thak you Khmerization.
In the above excerpts, that was then, when Vietnames were colonizing Kampuchea Krom. Those facts are irrefutable proof that Kampuchea Krom is not a fabrication during King Sihanouk’s regime in the 20th century.
Please remember the scum, people of bag and rope, mischievous colonists, subjects of king of Annam and his mandarins, pretending to oblige them (the people of bag and rope) to obey the laws of the country in which they lived (Cambodia’s 16th to19th centuries)
And please carefully look at what Vietnamese colonists are doing now in modern day Cambodia in a report from Cambodia Herald:

December 26, 2011 (Cambodia Herald) - The Association of Vietnamese-Cambodians in Koh Kong has held its first Congress, Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Online reported Monday.

The report said the congress was held on Sunday and attended by Federation of Vietnamese-Cambodians President Chau Van Chi and Vice Consul Kieu Cao Khoat from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Sihanoukville.

Over the past three years, the association has encouraged Vietnamese-Cambodians to improve their legal status, engage in charitable and educational activities, launched two primary-level Vietnamese courses and organized major events for International Children's Day, the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Lunar New Year, the report said.

Cpp allowed Yuons to form organizations in Cambodia,While Yuon forbidden khmers krom from forming any association in their own ancestor's land Kamuphea krom today. Is that fair? Is that fear of khmers will rebel against its oppressive/aggressive control's freaks gov't?

Yuons lived in Cambodia under their puppet were free to do anything they wanted and full protection from Cpp their dogs.while khmers krom were oppressed and spy every move they make,or every places that they gathers with khmers krom.

They defrocked the monks whose they suspected that involved with political process, they used their ironfists to controls and eliminates any way possible, they used the tactic called kills or eliminates without bleeding meaning eliminate/kill one but one without International's community knowing or aware of what is giong on.This Yuons tactic to destroy khmers infront of the eyes of the world in 21st century without International's community knowing.

Yobal Khmer.

They going to use ASEAN as a tool to populate srok Khmer. We Khmer are going to be powerless to control them. This going to happen even worst after 2015 when ASEAN become Under one umbrella.

In 2015 ASEAN will become like the EU? That's not going to happen. The Europeans have the same culture and same religion. ASEAN has all kinds of religions and different cultures.

We Khmer should never accept the outcome of the 2013 election. This is going to be another genocide just as seen in the 1997 election. Hun Sen is a murderer, he will kill anyone at all cost to keep his power.

It is irrefutable that Khmer Krom was the original inhabitants of southern Vietnam, known as Kampuchea Krom and that Kampuchea Krom was Khmer territory. The Vietnamese are occupiers and invaders of the area.
