Fans of Prime Minister Hun Sen’s five-hour, 20-minute address on the
Vietnamese border issue last week are in luck – they’ll soon be able to
have their own copy. [This is Hun Sen's "Mein Kampf" or his "Red Book"].
Speaking yesterday to graduates of Build Bright University, the premier said he plans to release his one-man show in video disc, audio CD and book form in both Khmer and English.
The offering, he said, is both for those wishing to understand Cambodia’s longstanding border dispute with its neighbour, and for the opposition Sam Rainsy Party, which has long criticised his treatment of it.
“Even if I explained it to [the SRP] for 10,000 times or 100,000 times, they still do not understand,” said Hun Sen. “[You] think that Hun Sen would be tired to death because of a five hour and 20 minute speech. I can continue for two more hours with more topics, but I thought that listeners would be hungry.”
The SRP has demanded information about the proposed concession of villages to Vietnam in exchange for territory that includes the birthplace of National Assembly President Heng Samrin.
In his address last Thursday, Hun Sen told lawmakers that the exchanges in Kampot, Kampong Cham and Takeo provinces had already been agreed upon, and that negotiations to do the same in Prey Veng and Svay Rieng were under way, all in accordance with a map deposited at the UN by King Father Norodom Sihanouk.
Prince Thomico Sisowath, Sihanouk’s adviser and secretary, said last week that at least one of the proposed concessions, the island of Koh Trol, “is in Khmer land,” according to the map.
SRP lawmaker Yim Sovann said that the publication of the speech wasn’t the issue.
“If [Hun Sen] was actually working properly [on the border issue] why doesn’t he allow people, civil society and observers to see the demarcation posts without threats and intimidation by local authorities?” asked Sovann.

I'll ask Hun sen the same as your last paragraph asked above....Why Hun sen?
Yes, Hun sen has something to hide. If not, he would have allowed border activists and opposition activists to visit the contentious border areas. So far, he has blocked people from visiting the border areas or arrested those who dare to visit the areas.
good to know that you are somebody's Goering
Mein Kampf should be your bedside book for you to compare it to the speech
Well WHY are you gentlemen still ask CPP why this why that? You guys should ask WHEN will Youn STOP annex more Cambodia land and sea areas ? As we are speaking they are encroaching every minutes either through planting FAKE border posts deep inside Cambodia or invasion through very liberal immigration policies. WE LOST THE FIGHT TO THE VIETS THAT'S WAS WHY WE END UP LOOSING LANDS AND ISLANDS THANKS TO KHMER ROUGH, We also end up with VIET's puppet government. When you lost a war you will pay the price one way or another.
One for all, this was very good idea, I supported.,
it history for whole cambodian peoples, as well as worldwide
to know & understand about Cambodia Geography...
The Vietnamese have no right to take our land or our soverinity or the livelihood of the Khmer future. If the Vietnamese believes they were liberators and not invaders and had no knowledge of the genocide that took place in Cambodia then they must ask the countries that signed the Paris Agreement Act to allow them the rights to the Khmer land.
Why is the Vietminh Hun Sen dealing with the Vietnamese and ceding the Khmerland under the table without UN, NGO or oppositions supports? Who does the Vietminh Hun Sen and his government truly serve?
Hun Sen is trying to build up a cult politics. He try to brainwash Khmer kids like the Khmer rouge brainwashed Khmer kids and 2 million died or were executed. This is dangerous.
No one wanted to lose lands to any bodies...
Poor Khmer , sad & sorrow
Can not be blamed to decho sen,,,
French should be blamed for this,
However, it many many many years ago..
Too bad for Khmer ,included me,,, sad & sorrow
Nothing,that, we can't do...
Again! Don't open your mouth if you don't know a little frog! Tell me who signed the treaties from 1982 thru 2005? The France!?The King!? Who said that Cambodia loses the right to claim Kosh Tral? Well, you probably heard the words that came out of your decho's mouth like millions of us heard on August,9th 2012 address to the nation that Cambodia has lost the right to claim Kosh Tral.Did Hun sen said that or not?
The France or the king (s)never say anything signed Kosh Tral to Yuon but the France did ceded Kamuphea krom to Bao Dai without khmer's consent. However, for you little frog to blamed the King or France for the treaties signed by Hun sen between1982-2005,is completely insane...
Kmenhwatt.
French was the saviour of the Khmer race. If the French didnt support Khmer, the Vietnamese would have swallowed Khmer along time ago. But the Vietminh Hun Sen was educated by Vietnamese, therefore the Vietminh Hun Sen never accepted any of the French treaties even the 1991 Paris Agreement Act.
Hun Sen is the Khmer traitor, not only did he signed away many treaties from 1979-2012 ceding the Khmer land, but he also murdered many Khmers in the K5 planning.
Why wont the Vietminh Hun Sen blame the King and the French for the K5 genocide?
I cant look at this traitors face. He is so ugly. What an ugly Youn.
U 're k.watt, got wrong concept, u only lived in pagoda,
Known nothing, u too closes ur mouth
Remembered, youn are much smarter than u are !
Oh yeah .. Mr. Khmenwatt he was right. He has a good expression about Khmer much much better than you [3:35 P.M.] such a dog, a dumb dog U r really stupid dirty dog because of your comment is pro Yiekcong.
And you are scare to dead. Guess what about last 10 years ago if any one like you want to fight with Youn the AK-47/Aka nam Teur plus the coffin were given by H.S . Maybe the reason why you are too scary from that date. Isn't right.
Don't worry too much as long you commit yourself with all the Khmer you'll be fine.
To Khmerization,
Hey brother you shouldn't have compared mein kampf to hun sens speech, because germany under Hitler and the nazis at its hieght was huge. But cambodia under hun sens clinge is freakin small.
tc bro
dcpp guy
If we ask what is right and what is wrong ? Vietnamese had no right to take anything from Cambodia but in reality when any country win a war they always get something in return " SPOIL OF WAR" this is an unwritten rules. The world do not wanted to admitted that it's happen but it does. When you loose a war you will always pay the price some more and some less. In our cases we Cambodian paid a very high price for a chance to live another day. Idiot Khmer Rough were so ignorant and massively distrustful that they were willing to kill off the entire population just to have a trustful societies. Of cours Youn got the best gifts from Pol Pot mistakes. These were the reasons why we lost our land borders and many beautiful, rich natural resources islands. Every time I see the Viets developed our land and islands I am deeply hurt and sorrow for our mother land. One day we MUST be prepare to fight back to get back what's ours. This time when we fight them we MUST do what ever it's takes to WIN. If we can't win don't start yet !
