Cambodian PM leaves for Tehran to attend NAM summit

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen left here Wednesday for Tehran to attend the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement Aug. 30-31.  
 
(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senior government officials accompanying the premier include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia Sok Chenda Sophea, Finance Secretary of State Aun Porn Moniroth and others, Srey Thamrong, a minister attached to the Prime Minister Hun Sen, told reporters at Phnom Penh International Airport before the departure.
The summit is themed “sustainable peace via joint global governance”, he said.

The 16th summit of NAM member states will be held in the Iranian capital from August 26 to 31.
NAM is an international organization with 120 member states that is not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. Nearly two-thirds of the countries of the United Nations are also NAM members.
NAM is the biggest international organization after the United Nations General Assembly.
