PHNOM PENH, 23 August 2012 (Cambodia Herald) Trade between Vietnam
and Cambodia exceeded $1.9 billion dollars in the first seven months of
this year, the High Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association said
Thursday.
Speaking at a news conference, an association official said Vietnamese exports to Cambodia came to $1.6 billion in the seven months to July. Imports from Cambodia to Vietnam totaled $329 million in the same period.
In 2011, Vietnamese exports to Cambodia amounted to $2.8 billion while imports from Cambodia were more than $400 million, the official said.

The news conference coincided with Thursday's opening of a five-day trade fair promoting high-quality Vietnamese goods and the association's 10th anniversary in Cambodia.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, the association groups 120 Vietnamese companies which mostly manufacture garments, textiles and household products.

Many Khmers got poisoned eating Vietnamese products and died.
I ate ta koun [water grass] from Srok Yuon I got diarhea so bad end up in hospital for two days cost me 100$.I learned my lesson not to eat anything from Srok Yuon,ever again.
