Bomb explodes at Pich Nil Bridge [A Khmer Rouge-style sabotage?]

SIHANOUKVILLE, 30 August 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – Authorities were repairing Pich Nil Bridge on National Road Number 4 on Thursday morning after a bomb exploded overnight, sources said.

The sources said the explosion, which took place two kilometers from Yeay Mao shrine, did not cause any serious damage and that traffic was moving as normal.

Authorities from Kampong Speu and Sihanoukville provinces are investigating the incident.
