PHNOM PENH, 31 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Vietnamese Ambassador
Ngo Anh Dzung said Tuesday that two-way trade between Vietnam and
Cambodia had reached $3 billion a year.
Dzung also said that Vietnam was now the sixth-biggest investor in Cambodia with cumulative investment of $1.2 billion.
While Cambodian exports to Vietnam have been increasing, he said the trade balance was still in Vietnam's favor.
The ambassador meanwhile appealed to 10 different journalist associations to avoid inaccurate reporting that could adversely affect ties between Cambodia and Vietnam. The appeal followed recent reports about border issues.
