In addition to her television work, the 28-year-old actress has
started her own charity, the Soda Nita Fund for the Poor, Orphans and
Elderly Entertainers.
"I want to do social work," she says. "I'm still young so I have to
start this charity. But I alone can’t help so many people so I need
support."
Soda Nita said the charity would also help victims of traffic
accidents and children receiving medical treatment at Kantha Bopha
Hospital.
"Kantha Bopha Hospital is facing a financial crisis and although we
cannot help with a huge a amount of funds, we can still share our care
and a little money," she says.
Soda Nita has starred in more ten movies including "Sayan Sne"
(Afternoon Love), "Toror Seb Pdach Broleng 009" (009 Killing Call) and
"Pa Chus Chivit Yuvavey" (Teen Life) which have been broadcast by CTN
and Bayon.
She has also featured in music videos for local and international
production companies, and has traveled widely. "When I was working as an
MC at Bayon TV, I went to China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan
and Korea," she says.
