PHNOM PENH, 4 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - The Ministry of Tourism expects annual
tourism revenue to reach $5 billion in 2020 with the number of tourists
visiting Cambodia more than doubling to seven million a year.
A report distributed at a two-day meeting that opened Tuesday also said that the tourism industry should be generating about 800,000 jobs by 2020.
The report said 3.3 million tourists were expected to visit in 2012 with 1.5 million visiting in the first five months of this year. Forecasts for the next few years are for 3.8 million tourists in 2013 and 4.5 million in 2015.

Where do all the revenue collected from the tourist industry goes? All these money should be put into a good use to build our country.
