PHNOM PENH, 2 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Senior officials from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and its dialogue partners began meeting in Phnom Penh Monday to discuss climate change, officials said.
The five-day meeting is arranged by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy in collaboration with the ASEAN General Secretariat and the ASEAN Center for Energy.
Chea Senghong, secretary of state at the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, is chairing the meeting which will also include senior officials from China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, Norway, Russia, the United States and the European Union.
Officials said the meeting would focus on regional security, green energy and the adoption of an ASEAN action plan for energy cooperation from 2010-2015
