Is Sok An suffering from only kidney stone or something serious than this?

Rumours about Deputy PM Sok An's illness are still milling around, despite the government releasing a statement stating that the deputy prime minister had only suffered a kidney stone and is recovering well.

The government has put out a statement to dispel rumours of the seriousness of the deputy PM's illness after rumours and speculation among bloggers that he was seriously ill and needs a kidney transplant if he is to have any chance of survival at all.

At the same time that the government has put out the statement, there is another rumour that he had been replaced by Sou Phirin, another of Hun Sen's strongman, as the chairman of the Apsara National Authority, a position Sok An held for more than 10 years.

Now, those who have inside information about Sok An's illness said that Sok An's illness could be very serious because he has been in the hospital for months and could not even sit up or talk. Here is what one blogger, Pang Sokheoun, said:

"Note: The Council of Ministers issued a statement saying that Sok An has a kidney stone in the gall bladder.  We are wondering that if he just had this disease, why he has been hospitalised for months, can't sit and can't talk?"

So, the rumours will go on. The rumours will stop only when people see Sok An appears publicly and looking healthily.
