MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – A Cambodian parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Cambodia Heng Samrin will travel to Belarus on an official visit from 19 to 23 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
Mr Heng Samrin is scheduled to meet
with Belarusian top-ranking officials to discuss the Belarus-Cambodia
cooperation, strengthening of business ties and interaction in the
international organizations, including in the ASEAN Interparliamentary
Assembly (AIPA) in which Cambodia presides in 2012. The National
Assembly of the Republic of Belarus obtained the observer status in the
AIPA in 2011 with the full backing from Cambodia.
Besides, the Cambodian MPs will visit the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Minsk Tractor Works to further practical cooperation.
As part of the cultural program of the visit, MPs will see the sights of Minsk, and travel to Nesvizh and Mir.
