At least 60,000 Cambodian women work in Malaysia as domestic helpers.
Last year, the Cambodian government banned women from travelling to work there because of increasing reports of abuse.
Tola Moeun, who has worked extensively with abused maids, believes
that Cambodian women are still arriving in Malaysia to work, often
through third countries.
Al Jazeera’ Stephanie Scawen reports from Phnom Penh.
