According to Radio Free Asia, Ven. Luon Sovath has been released at about 7pm Thursday night after he was arrested at 10am the same day. He is now in hiding in a safe place.

In an interview with RFA after his release, Ven. Luon Sovath said that he was questioned and guarded by about 50 police and officials and they pressured him to sign a paper promising to stop any anti-government activities or he would be defrocked and sent to court.
Under immense pressures, he agreed to sign but he said at about 4pm, there was a phone call from a higher authority to the Buddhist patriarch that he must be defrocked and sent to court. After some negotiations, the higher authority agreed to let him take the first option, which is to allow him to stay in the monkhood, but that he must agree to cease all anti-government activities.
He said he now fears for his life and safety.

Vietnam leaders in Hanoi have gone too far until today to control his Vietnamese puppet Hun Sen who was illegally installed as a Prime Minister of Cambodia after ousting the former PM Penn Sovan of Cambodia because he did not want illegal Vietnamese immigrants (millions of them) flooding into Cambodia territory after the Killing Fields (1975-1979).

Now, Vietnam leaders in Hanoi have been using the Vietnamese slave Hun Sen for more than three decades to control Cambodia using CPP (Cambodian People Party) regime as their secret plan by giving direct orders to Hun Sen to hurt his own people because he has no power, but he was offered the wealth and power to enjoy the luxury life styles. As you have seen before that Cambodia opposition party (Funcinpec) had won the election in 1993 and they the coupe and war had occured because of secret war of Vietnamese leaders in Hanoi in Cambodia to oust the opposition party (FUNCINPEC) led by Prince Norodom Ranarith and had killed many people, important commanders and officers of FUNCINPEC and other opposition leaders. These situations have deceived the UN, EU, USA and International Communities by saying that Hun Sen ordered the coup to destroy the oppositions leaders of FUNCINPEC. Yes, Hun Sen was ordered by his Vietnamese bosses or masters in Hanoi and he was protected by his Vietnamese bosses in Hanoi and hidden Vietnamese military forces in Cambodia.
So, the UN, USA, EU leaders, International Communities and donors should hear and see the dirty plan and secret war in the blind eyes of everyone in the worlds and gullible people of Cambodia, fooling that Khmer leaders killed their own oppositions, but the hidden Vietcong/Vietnam military forces secretly provided by Vietnam masters (the followers of evil Ho Chi Minh) in Hanoi.

In order for the countries that you have asked to arrest Hanoi leaders,Hanoi's leaders must commit atrocity/kill hunmanbeing by thousand if not millions,or you must present your case to these Donor countries that Hanoi were the mastermind behind all the killing in Cambodia without the shadow of a doubt,then,these countries (donors) may look at your case.
These countries can't arrest Hanoi leaders, because Vietnam is a neutrality country,the best way that these donors countries can do is impose sanction against the Hanoi gov't that you about it.

The evil secret Vietnamese masters and followers as bloody secret Vietnamese agents could get away from the exposures of their dirt deeds and murderous killing of Cambodian/Khmer people in the Killing Fields. Therefore, the UN and International Communities have been fooled and did not see the real Vietnamese killers of the Killing Fields instead of Khmer Rouges of Pol Pot who were so busy fighting against the Vietcong armies in the South border with Vietnam to get the Khmer Krom (Southern Cambodia as South Vietnam) and Cambodian/Khmer islands back.
