President Rong Chhun asked Phnom Penh Governor Kep Chuktema Wednesday
for a quick resolution of the Borei Keila land dispute.
In a letter, Rong Chhhun said the case should be solved fairly between residents and and Phanimex Co.
"A solution cannot be delayed any longer as the residents have been waiting for solutions for many months and they face a lot of difficulties in their livelihoods," he said.
After Rong Chhun led Borei Keila residents to present a petition to Prime Minister Hun Sen in early May, the office of the prime minister urged Kep Chuktema to examine the case.
