The Cambodian Center for Human Rights
("CCHR") has been asked to forward the attached petition that has been
drafted by Stop Violence Cambodia, a local youth group. The petition
calls on the Royal Government of Cambodia (the "RGC") to take immediate
action in order to bring about peaceful resolutions to the ongoing land
conflicts in Cambodia.
Please also find attached an invitation to a press
conference that will be held by Stop Violence Cambodia at 9 am on 1 June
2012 at Baitong Restaurant, Phnom Penh.

Dear all,The continuing problem of land evictions and the violent response by local authorities against protesters and communities who are only advocating for their rights to be respected shall no be longer tolerated.
