The article said he passed away by cancer, not old age because he is about 62 years old I think.

My heart-felt condolences to Sam Borin's family. It is truly sad, when any member of the family pass away.I know how much the rest of the family have to endure this pain, with someone who left behind so much sweet memories and sacrifices for family, his nation and the wider world that he had shared.
When I heard that he worked for RFA,I feel that I have lost another distant intimate friend ,who have joint me in the battle to free Cambodia for a true democracy.
Whoever, death is sad thing in life, and no one or no element, could escape this natural Law. Perhaps, Lord Buddha was right that all lives and in our existence from stars to lives in our planet will die and will be reincarnated sometimes later.Who know since our existence is mysterious. Our soul is made of energy and energy can not be destroyed.Perhaps death is just a complementary for life, and perhaps we have to learn to be brave to accept this singular law with flowers in our heart.

People remember people for what he did,not what he had. Some who had managed to walk on this golden paths, had left a priceless footsteps for not his family, his nation, but humanity as a whole.

All we need is a meaningful live,as our passports for the next one.

May Sam Borin's soul rest in peace.
