PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Despite an oral agreement and a joint statement following a ruling by the International Court of Justice, Cambodia and Thailand have yet to withdraw their troops from the border.
"The joint statement of the two parties is obvious, yet problems still exist," Defense Minister Tea Banh (pictured) told reporters Wednesday.
"Cambodia and Thailand must agree to the terms of reference to ease the situation," he said, highlighting the importance of Indonesian peacekeepers who have yet to be deployed.
